Nowadays the investigations are held and new pulse technologies
are developed in IPPT:

  fullerenes making by means of graphite conductors electro blast method with an output up to 50% from the initial graphite. Method’s advantage is the reduction of performed operations, possibility to receive the mixture of stable fullerens С 60, С 70, С 76, and automation possibilities.

   raw materials processing for the production of high-quality meat and bone flour and mixed fodders. The essence is that high-voltage pulse electric discharges are executed in a special flash chamber, full of water and feed stock. Blast waves, high pressures, high-speed hydroflows and cavitation appearing at that, destroy bone tissue, provide for pores and capillaries opening in a short time, promote diffusion of liberation of fatty matters and proteins. Moreover, sterilization of processing stuff takes place, what is of no small importance, as the stuff source are usually animals died of illnesses. Received product requires short thermal treatment with plant fillers. Meat and bone flour prepared in such a way contains up to 70% of protein.

   sonar system for young fish frightening from the hydroengineering constructions. Its principle of operation is based on the use of infralow-frequency radiating devices, allowing to form acoustic field with any set in advance configuration of spectral envelope in the frequency range 6... 1000 Hz, which effectively influence fishes' lateral system, what allows to frighten fish from water intakes on rivers, ponds and other reservoirs. Acoustic grid established on the entrance to water supply point consists of radiating moldules of pulse effect and modules giving the monochromatic signal, what allows to easily modify method's technological capabilities. Technology and acoustic fish equipment takes into account hydroengineering characteristics of area of water, fish species, work seasonality, and water-level difference during the day. Application of a pre-production model at water intakes of Dnieper waterworks, Kiev, verified a considerable effect of lead of fish of different species and sizes from prohibited area, and method's security. High performance ( to 70%) of the acoustic method, its ecological purity along with stable and error-free performance, low power inputs guarantee considerable advantages over the existing ways of fish-protection.
